sara reached out to me after she saw my work featured on the super awesome blog daily candy. sara said she was looking for a photographer to document her wedding...and by looking she meant had to have and by wedding she meant, wedding to be held in one week!
ok let's stop for a minute. because really?! i love girls like sara!! she's spontaneous and knows what she wants...a girl after my own heart. so i was like...uhhh YESSS!!
one week later and i am in her wickerpark home documenting her getting ready. there is so much excitement and anticipation in her home and it reminds why the "getting ready" moments are some of my favorite of the day.
sara and tony shared their vows at the humbolt park boat house in front of fourteen of their closest family...sixteen if you count siblings via skype. sara made her own stunning floral arrangements and there was not a dry eye in site...mine included.
dinner was held at a tavola...family style and, although i departed during the salad course, it was amazing to be a part of this magical moment in sara and tony's life...
from this wedding i have made two new friends...and for that i am grateful!!
